The Irlen Method can be life changing for those individuals struggling with Irlen Syndrome. A person with Irlen Syndrome may have difficulty with perceptual processing. Often these individuals have 20/20 vision or can be corrected to 20/20 vision. When identified and remediated, students' have passed proficiency exams that they previously failed, fluency and comprehension improve and many state that they no longer have headaches. These are just a few of the reasons that teachers and other professionals become certified. The Irlen Method is a piece of the puzzle that may be missing.
